ENDWELL (WBNG) – The pandemic has decimated the service industry. Now they are working to recuperate with the summer wedding season just around the corner.
As capacity constraints continue to ease, the return to normal on events like weddings is exciting.
Riverdale Events Manager Lisa Melena said the past 14 months have been frustrating.
“It was extremely difficult for 2020 to be limited to just 50 people in a 6,000-square-foot facility,” she said.
Casey Kuhlman, Tioga Gardens nursery manager, said her wedding dates were filling up quickly.
“We’ve booked pretty solid weekends once things have reopened for outdoor venues,” he said.
