Unfortunately, weddings in the UK have become a nightmare for many during the lockdown as many couples have to cancel their big day or postpone it for months or even years.

Of course, this has created a backlog and many are now struggling to find their dream location for their wedding.

However, have you ever thought about going abroad?

Of course there are still travel restrictions for many destinations that mean that we cannot go there – but Gibraltar is not one of them.

Being on the green list means you can get there pretty easily. The flight is also relatively quick and as a UK overseas territory you don’t even have to change your money as you pay in British pounds.

In addition, according to The Hon Vijay Daryanani MP, Minister of Economy and Tourism for Her Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar, there are no restrictions on wedding receptions.

With that in mind, we’ve rounded up the top five wedding locations in Gibraltar that you should consider before your big day.
