After beginning out as an opera singer and premed pupil, Giovanna Randall made her debut into the bridal trend house by launching HONOR in 2010. Randall, the president and head designer of the model, named the bridal firm after her sister, and it is a tribute to fearless ladies from the previous and current. HONOR Spring 2023
From taffeta robes with bubble skirts to gauzy silk clothes with satin ribbon trimming, the Spring 2023 assortment explores quantity and romance. “This assortment was about playfulness and revisiting issues I admired as a lady in a grown-up manner,” explains Randall. “My grandmother has these lovely bedspreads from the ’40s and ’50s with delicate candle wicking, they usually impressed among the embroidery strategies within the new designs.” Puff sleeves, delicate bows, and tiered skirts give every costume a whimsical, Regency-inspired aesthetic whereas refined colourful particulars make these robes excellent for unconventional brides.
