A “hidden” cocktail bar with a photo booth theme offers a new menu with colorful film slides.

On expat-heavy Soi Sukhumvit 11, among the pandemic survivors struggling to thrive, Find the Photo Booth proves that 16 new signature drinks have recently been added: eight classics and eight modern interpretations with Thai influences.

Old school film photography also plays a role. To see what’s on offer, users need to grab film slides and place them on a light board to light them up.

The menu was inspired by the 1970s and features eight classics from that time – think Sex on the beach (THB400), Singapore Sling (B430), Midori Sour (THB400), grasshopper (THB400) – Made with a lot more effort and care, not to mention better ingredients than your average disco drink. These all lean towards the dry end of the spectrum, with the sweetness toned down across the board.

For these modern drinks with Thai influences, they highlight Manee (THB430), a piece of margarita with arquitecto blanco tequila, orange yogurt, coconut and cinnamon syrup, and lemon; or the Jade Market (THB430), an in-your-face variant of the Midori Sour with spiced rum from Sailor Jerry, Midori infused with coriander roots, pineapple and celery syrup, lime and a rye solution reminiscent of the Ecto Cooler-green color of Thai cream soda , but with a spicy, slightly herbaceous kick.

Some drinks contain playful ingredients like purple Fighting cock (THB430), which pairs roselle-infused bourbon with corn milk syrup, lemon, and egg white before dousing caramelized popcorn over the glass. The potent one Mahanakhon iced tea (THB430) consists of VSOP cognac, Michter’s bourbon, spiced rum from Sailor Jerry, cola syrup, milk punch, orange bitters and Thai tea.

Along with the new recipes, they now offer happy hour from 5pm to 8pm with Negroni for THB220, while Hendricks G&T is THB250 – with no service or VAT.

The Cocktail Speakeasy was developed by four partners – Hidetsugu Ueno, Colin Chia, Nick Wu and Ronnaporn “Nueng” Kanivichaporn. The bartending supergroup is also known for #FindtheLockerRoom, a bar hidden behind rows of lockers.

Find the Photo Booth is accessible from a photo booth on the second floor of Score Bar on Soi Sukhumvit 11, a five-minute walk from BTS Nana.
