New rules for weddings play a role on Monday, giving newlyweds more freedom in planning weddings.

Weddings and civil weddings now allow up to 30 people to be opened in COVID-safe locations.

They can either take place indoors in a COVID-safe location (this does not apply to private houses) or outdoors (including private gardens).

Guests must continue to wear face covering and are also advised not to dance.

While these restrictions are still not ideal, they are still much more relaxed than they were before and shouldn’t prevent you from marrying the love of your life.

Fortunately for the people of Worcestershire, you don’t have to travel far to find a beautiful and luxurious wedding venue.

We tracked down some of the dreamiest, most luxurious wedding venues in the entire county – here are some of the best we found:

The Holt fleet, Holt Heath

If you want your wedding photos to be filled with picturesque shots from The River Severn then The Holt Fleet is for you.

Your functional suite can accommodate up to 150 guests, ideal for wedding plans after lockdown restrictions have eased.

You have two wedding rooms to choose from, each with their own scenic views and unique features.

You also have access to your own terrace with your own bar and toilets.

A company spokesperson said:

“We are an independent, family owned and run venue with the most amazing location right on the banks of the River Severn with your own secret garden.

“Two dedicated wedding coordinators to accompany you throughout the planning process and on your actual day.

“We offer competitive all-in-one packages and can put couples in touch with a variety of wedding providers.

There really is nowhere else in Worcestershire but us. ”

Norton Forest, Evesham

This wedding venue is on the cusp of the Cotswolds and just half an hour’s drive from Worcester.

The amazing views and spacious grounds make it the ideal location for outdoor weddings or just for drinks at the reception.

The orangery is the exclusive event space for weddings and events and offers space for up to 120 people.

One lucky visitor said it was an “amazing” wedding venue.

Matt H said, “We had amazing support throughout our planning and the wedding day itself, despite all the changes we had to make due to Covid.

“Natalie and Paige were fantastic the day before our wedding and the day itself, to make sure everything went smoothly and perfectly, to plan and make the day even better than we could have imagined.

“We would have no hesitation in recommending Wood Norton to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind hotel with a really high quality feel!”

Wedding packages start at £ 109.

It really is a blank canvas ready to decorate with your own theme and unique furniture.

It is run by Dan and Amy Simon, who hosted their own teepee wedding on the farm.

Elmbridge Farm is nestled in over 60 acres of land and you’ll celebrate the day inside in a luxurious tipi.

The tipi is fully functional and furnished to a nice standard. It has the necessary equipment and furniture from the sound system to the kitchen table.

You can also use the company’s bar or bring your own drinks to the party.

Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, Worcester

A more traditional and historic venue is the Stanbrook Abbey Hotel in Worcester.

The wedding rooms here really look like something out of a historical drama and you’re guaranteed to feel like royalty for a day.

You have the choice between St. Anne’s Hall or the hall’s original chapels. For something truly spectacular, consider docking at the Callow Great Hall.

Alternatively, exchange your vows outside in the beautiful gardens. An orchard, Willow Lake and lovely gardens are found on the 26-acre property.

Curradine barns, Shrawley

The rustic barns here really come alive at night when their aesthetics are changed by soft lighting and twinkling lights.

The Barley Barn is the dining area and features rustic oak beams and exposed brick walls.

The granary barn can be used for your ceremony as well as your evening party – and has a beautiful rustic interior.

Outdoor ceremonies are also possible under the beautiful garden pavilion on the farm lawn.
