The Bridal Robe

Meredith flew to New York — making eight journeys — to design the costume with Naeem Khan and his son Zaheen. The hand-beaded grown, with a tree-of-life image embroidered into the costume, took 200 hours to create.

Fady Armanious of Tootsies was concerned with each journey, sourcing equipment and design ideas. The bride additionally wore a Naeem Khan white beaded jumpsuit for the after-party.

Metropolis Kitchen in Houston dealt with the catering for the wedding. The wedding wine was a 1996 Chateau Haut-Brion that the daddy of the bride had been saving because the 12 months Meredith was born.

Wedding Excessive Notes

On the reception, household buddies Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn carried out 5 songs together with “Neon Moon” and “My Maria.” The reception band was Rhythm Collective. DJ Savy Fontana, who alternates between St Barts and Aspen, equipped tunes for the after occasion.

The festivities expanded to 450 on the Corinthian, the neoclassical treasure in downtown Houston with the after-party happening within the historic former financial institution vault.

Meredith danced together with her father to “Cannot All the time Get What You Need” by The Rolling Stones, a joke between them. Mason danced together with his mom to “What a Fantastic World” by Louis Armstrong, an ode to Louisiana jazz, which he was raised on.

The Fortunately Ever After

The brand new Mr. and Mrs. Barker took a mini-moon to St. Barts, staying at Eden Roe. This summer time, they will honeymoon in Italy — with plans to go to Milan, Lake Como, Tuscany, Florence and the coast for Amalfi, Positano and Capri.
