It’s an undeniable fact that any love story best ends with the leading lady wearing a white dress while her husband waits at the end of the aisle. But in real life, a ceremony like this is more chaotic than it appears on TV screens – first you have to find the perfect dress.

In 2016, the internet delighted in the sweet and almost tragic love story of Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) and Kim Shin (Gong Yoo). K-Drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (popularly known as Goblin) follows the story of the 900 year old goblin (Shin) who waits for his human bride so that he can finally rest in the afterlife.

As the story progresses, Shin develops strong feelings for his bride Eun-tak, but as belief would have it, the latter only exists to end the goblin’s life.

After Shin and Eun-tak defied their tragic beliefs, they decided to get married. The leprechaun’s bride wore a straight dress from Jenny Packham’s 2015 Bridal Spring collection.

The Korean series Start-Up kept us sane in the COVID-19 quarantine. Before the show ended, everyone wondered if Seo Dal-mi (Bae Suzy) would end with Nam Do-san (Nam Joo-hyuk) or Han Ji-pyeong (Kim Seon-ho).

Fortunately, just prior to the introduction of the credits, photos of Dal-mi and Do-san were seen on an office table, suggesting the two are happily married.

Dal-mi wears Safiyaa’s Dara wedding dress, which highlights a beautiful long, square neck dress made of ivory crepe with a satin stretch lotus sleeve curtain.

If there’s one K-drama that got our anger so high we almost scratched the walls, it would have to be the world of the married. Main characters Ji Sun-woo (Kim Hee-ae) and Lee Tae-oh (Park Hae-joon) have hands down some of the best performances on television.

Even if the couple didn’t get on-screen on good terms, fans could never forget the short scene of pregnant Sun-woo in a white, long-sleeved collared wedding dress.

Inspired by a classic Joseon legend, Hallyu stars Lee Min-ho and Jun Ji-hyun brought the characters of Heo Joon-jae and Sim Chung to life.

The K-Drama Legend of the Blue Sea features a scene where Chung projected a memory of her wedding to Joon-jae. The couple looked dashing as husband and bride, but all eyes were glued to Chung’s asymmetrical and simple wedding dress.

Park Bo-young looked like a young and naughty bride when she played the role of Bong-soon in Strong Girl Bong Soon. Her white high-low dress from Belle Epoque features a layered long-train gown specially cut before the knees to highlight the bride’s wedge.

The dress is also covered in patterned silk sleeves that protrude slightly past the elbows.

Nothing else screams elegance like Kim Mi-so’s (Park Min-young) wedding dress in What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim ?. The off-the-shoulder wedding dress was unlike any office attire she wore throughout the series. The Hallyu star looked elegant as always and was definitely passed out!
